Sign up to Amber
Use our referral link to create your Amber account. You'll get $30 off across your first two bills.

Add your battery in the Amber app
In the app, connect your battery brand so Amber can talk to it. The video above shows exactly where to tap for your specific battery.

Authorise SmartShift
Give Amber permission to optimise charging and discharging. You can switch to manual control any time.

Let it learn
SmartShift spends roughly the first month learning your home before it optimises fully. Early bills won't show your full savings yet — that's normal.
